The problem with Manifesta 4 is not wether there are good or bad artists and artworks there, but wether the implementation of such a concept, that of a big scale exhibition fits into the cultural landscape of Frankfurt.
Indeed, Manifesta is more readable and better displayed than Documenta 11, but that doesn't solve the general problem: the inability of such a show to document contemporary artistic practices.
