On the occasion of the Tschoperl-open-air-exhibition, which will take place in the Staedel Museum garden this year, the japanese artist Ayaka Okutsu (*1982) will show her performative sculpture-project "Happiness Disorder" which she created especially for this event.
Besides that, the artists Britta and Klaus Kamptner (*1978 and *1974, both in Frankfurt am Main) will be showing the current version of their work in collaboration "...weil die Wespe keine Biene ist und die Kartoffel kein Ei !" which they started in 2007.
One part of their installation consists of a large-sized, useable textile piece by Britta Kamptner. An ongoing process in form and content, this work deals with both the park situation and the exhibitions already shown at Tschoperl.
The corresponding light objects by Klaus Kamptner refer to, among other things, the colouring of the floor piece by Britta Kamptner and the siblingsĀ day-to-day living situation.
Free entrance.
In the event of rain, the function will have to be cancelled
Normally the exhibition-space Tschoperl is located in the common private apartment of the siblings Kamptner in Frankfurt/Bornheim. The space was founded in summer 2006. Different national and international young artists, who all work in different media, have been invited to show their work there.
Until now 10 exhibitions (group- and soloshows) have been realised at Tschoperl.
next shows are planned for autumn 2008.
