Der Fluxus-Künstler Benjamin Patterson überzeugt durch seine unkonventionelle und humorvolle Art, das Leben anzugehen. Performances und Objekte sind seine Steckenpferde. Nur wenige Künstler verstehen es, diese beiden Genres so zu vereinen, dass sie zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis werden.

The question, "DO WE STILL HAVE TIME?"can be read as concerning many different, personal

or public problems. And as we all should know, no matter what the problem, sooner or later, it is TIME that best resolves

the problem, for better or worse ... and most often, only because TIME has happened.

Here, I add two wisdoms, which I was taught by Dr. Josef Bloch, my Professor for Conducting at the University of Michigan, 1951/1952:

At one time, I asked how to perform the difficult, "triple-dotted" rhythms of a Brückner Symphony :....

His answer was: "Wait and wait until you can wait not longer."

Some time later, his advise to me about a "girl friend" problem was: "Women are like street-cars. There

will be another in 10 minutes. Those were the "good old days".

Now, these are the "not so good new days".

We are 5 Years after G.W.Bush declared "Mission Accomplished"; and even more years since he refused to sign-on to the Kyoto Agreement. The economy of the USA is in recession,...impacting the rest of the world! Glaciers are

melting! Fish stocks are declining and the price of oil has inflated beyond the stratosphere.
